Dr. David Lindley - Acting CEO, Australia
- Dr David Lindley is a +40 year experienced exploration geologist in Papua New Guinea with short periods of exploration in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. He was instrumental in the discovery of the giant Wafi porphyry deposit and the Wamum porphyry prospect (both in 1978), the Mt Sinivit gold deposits (1983), the Mt Nakru porphyry prospect (1984) and the Townsville deposit near the Ok Tedi copper mine (1988). His specialisation in mapping and understanding of Tertiary volcanic systems resulted in significant advancements in the understanding of gold occurrence on the 130 year old Woodlark Island goldfield (1992 & 2018). David has literally single-handedly advanced the geology and mineralisation of the Company’s Mt Suckling project over a 33 year period from 1988, and many prospects owe their discovery to his pioneering geological work in the area. He is extensively published on the geology, tectonics and mineralisation of Papua New Guinea. He has published a book on the gold mining and first contact history of the Keveri and Ada’u Valleys in Mt Suckling region (2018) and his most recent paper (November 2021) is a ground-breaking contribution on jade occurrence in the New Guinea Mobile Belt.
Stephen Grey – Director, PNG and Australia
- Stephen has extensive PNG experience currently the Country Manager of Wokman Teleoks Ltd a major supplier of labour to the resource sector in PNG. Prior to his existing tenure he was the Regional Manager at Applus Velosi for Australia,Indonesia, PNG and Oceania, supplying manpower and inspection services to the Oil/Gas and Mining industries.
Andrew Morris – Director, Australia
Andrew began his career as a lawyer, practicing in commercial litigation, corporate, government and in-house law. As former Regional CEO of Applus Velosi, he was responsible for deploying substantial professional and technical workforces into some of the largest mining operations in PNG, Indonesia, Mongolia and Africa. Andrew is a co-founder and director of Papuan Minerals Ltd and has served on multiple boards of international companies with interests in the resources and energy sectors. Andrew holds bachelor degrees from the Australian National University in economics, commerce and law, along with an MBA from the University of Queensland.
David Drinkwater— Chair and Director, Canada
- Mr. Drinkwater was a Senior Advisor to Rothschild Canada until December 31, 2015. Prior thereto, Mr. Drinkwater was the Chairman of Rothschild Canada from April 15, 2009 to July 1, 2013. Prior thereto, Mr. Drinkwater was the Chief Legal Officer of Nortel Networks Corporation from December 19, 2005 to December 31, 2008 and Senior Advisor from then to March 31, 2009.
- From August 2004 to December 2005, he acted as an independent consultant and corporate director. From April 2003 to July 2004, Mr. Drinkwater served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Ontario Power Generation Inc. From December 1998 to March 2003, Mr. Drinkwater was Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development and Legal Affairs at Ontario Power Generation.
- Mr. Drinkwater holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics, an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a B.A. in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Stephen Balch — Director, Canada
- Stephen Balch has served as the Vice President of Exploration of Canada Nickel Company Inc. He has a string technical background with over 34 years experience in the mining industry as a consulting geophysicist and developer of innovative technology. He has worked with major mining companies such as Inco Limited, Falconbridge Limited and Anglo American and junior companies including FNX Mining, Wallbridge Mining, Orford Mining, and Noble Mineral Exploration. He was a co-founder of Aeroquest International Limited and helped take the company public in 2004 on the TSX Venture.
Paul Rokeby CPA, CA.- Director, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Timmins, ON, Canada
- Partner at MNP Inc., over 30 years of accounting experience with exploration companies and general accounting practice.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (1984) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
